We pride ourselves on the quality of our food here at the Black Bull Inn, and we’ve recently created an exciting new menu and carvery options for our customers! Our personal favourite is the homemade, loaf tin Yorkshire puddings with beef, chunky chips, and beef gravy.
Wednesday: Curry night
Korma, Tikka All Gluten Free
Friday: Fish Day – choose from Haddock or Scampi
Sunday Carvery: Served from 12:00 – 4:00
We recommend booking, especially during busy periods (school or bank holidays, for example), and for the Sunday Carvery. Parties of 5 of more should book in advance to avoid disappointment.

We had a few drinks on our arrival to the adjacent camp site and decided to book in for a family meal. Absolutely brilliant 👏 loved the food and the service was top notch. We would definitely visit again. Brilliant 👏 thank you. Oh and dog friendly

We dropped in here because we couldn't get in anywhere else, and what lovely place. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the pub is clean and tidy. We ended up eating in here twice in almost as many days. The menu is varied with the usual pub classics but they also have jacket potatoes and baguette sandwiches available all day and also have some smaller meals for those with a smaller appetite. The food is good, portions are great and paid usual pub prices, what is not to like. I am sure we will see you again soon😁

The roast beef sandwich was excellent. Good hearty food and a nice beer garden. Prices are decent. Good example of basic English pub food and good sized portions.

Stay overnight with us
We have five rooms here at the Black Bull, 3 doubles, 1 twin, and 1 family room. All our rooms are situated separately from the main building, with parking directly outside the accommodation.
The rooms all have en-suites with showers, fully digital 32″ TVs, and tea & coffee making facilities. All towels and bedding are provided.
